1. How did you come up with your Brand name? My brand is a representation of myself, I had the Instagram name TEE_GABRIELLE for a few years now. “Tee” is a nickname I acquired and Gabrielle is my middle name. I felt this name was professional enough to represent my brand. That is how TeeGabrielle the self-love enthusiast was born.
  2. What inspired you to start your own business? I was feeling lost and unlike myself in 2016, I was contemplating on how I could be a better version of myself. I decided December 2016 I would do the things I was scared of, I then decided to document these things and share it with others that may be experiencing the same struggles. I decided to share my SELF LOVE JOURNEY via my YouTube channel.
  3.  What was your original business mission and how has it evolved since you started?  My original business mission was to inspire others. I always wanted to start my own non-profit organization that guides and inspires girls. I Knew I could not effectively do so until I was honest and True to myself. Since then I have been working on other ways I can reach different groups of people on different platforms, soon I will be hosting events and publishing more writing.
  4.  What motivates you to get up every morning and go harder for your business?  I know that my life purpose is to pay it forward, I start every morning remembering that I will rise by lifting others. This is why I never get tired of sharing my experiences with whoever will listen.
  5.  Name a celebrity or someone you are most inspired by that you would like to see supporting your business and why?  I am most inspired by Andrea Lewis, she is a Canadian actress, singer, songwriter, producer, and self-love enthusiast. She played a huge part in why I started my journey, it was on her YouTube channel that I learned how to start accepting my flaws. If it wasn’t for her channel I don’t think I would be where I am today.
  6. What makes what you do dope? How do you stand out?  Not a lot of young women are courageous enough to be vulnerable on a computer, phone, or tv screen. Not a lot of young women put all their insecurities on the table in hopes of inspiring others. We live in a world where people are afraid to be their authentic selves and I want to Bring that back.
  7. What are some of the greatest challenges you’ve faced along the way? The greatest challenges I’ve faced along the way was realizing that people did not like me for who I really was. The minute I started to be myself wholeheartedly is the minute I received less support. After choosing to fit in for so long I now truly knew what it felt like to stand out and it was hard not to fall into old habits
  8. Tell me one of your greatest accomplishments or moments you’ve had since you’ve started your business? My greatest accomplishment is receiving a comment, email, or direct message from a viewer or follower and hearing how they felt about my videos or articles. When people tell me, I’ve inspired them or my work has made a difference in their life it reassures me that I am doing the right thing whether my support is big or small.
  9.  If it was one thing you could tell an up and coming entrepreneur; what would it be? My best advice to an upcoming entrepreneur is TRUST YOUR VISION, never let anyone even yourself discourage you from your dreams. Hard work pays off and in due time recognition will come.
  10. Your brand is now a new addition to the Crayon box. What color would it be and why? If my brand was a new addition to the crayon box it would be an iridescent blue and it would be named Im-perfect. My brand is not the ordinary hustle, it literally requires me to pour who I am onto a page and I am perfectly imperfect.
