Week4: “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” To everything there is a season, and a time to every there is a purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3
Welcome Back!!! This week topic is all about finding your purpose and passion. Live your own life and enjoy every moment of it. How many of us have found your passion and your purpose? Well if you have that is great if you haven’t that’s okay because I want to let you know that you still have time. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how you look you can still ignite your passion by finding your purpose. I choose to use this bible verse because we go through a lot of changes on a day to day basis and trust me if it for you then you will have it. I know that there is a reason for everything that has happened to me and around me. Once my season is up its time for me to somewhat switch my purpose I feel. Things get old and time waits for no man and if you stay stagnate then have you really found your purpose and what are you living for?
Okay, so everything happens for a reason. I don’t believe that anything that has happen to me has happened by accident. I think that certain people have come into my life to better me or even to hurt me. I also believe that some come in my like for a specific season to teach me a lesson. I think that everything that happens in your life prepares you for something bigger so that you can continue to grow. In 2015-2016 my season was forever changing. I was becoming a high school senior, my grandmother passed away, I had got a new job and at end of the year, I would start my freshman year of college plus a whole lot of other issues. I honestly had a lot on my plate with little time to eat. I try not to stress but if I’m honest trusting the process got really hard. For instance, I came college with a passion for teaching, I’m not going to say that I don’t want to be a teacher anymore but that’s just isn’t my passion anymore. I told myself if teaching is for me then God sends me in that direction. I mean I am thankful that I understood what I was feeling in that moment. When I told people I had a change of heart they didn’t put me down I felt lifted instead. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t really feel like college is for me but my friends and family really encourage me to get the experience of what this life has to offer. This moment in my life hasn’t staled yet so I have to take control and succeed. My best friend said some things that really got through to me and I’m at a point where I’m just going to accept what it is and go with the flow. I’m going to let you know it’s okay to go with the flow of life sometimes. Live freely don’t stress yourself out about something so little. Who has their life completely figured out at 19, if you do I’m happy for you. Time waits for no man that’s why I’m going to experience all that I can while I can. If it makes you happy you should go with it. Be happy for yourself and the life that your choosing to live. Whatever you are dealing with, going through, & battling, it’s not in vain, but its a part of your testimony.
